Crimson Moon

I love this piece because it's not your average painting. It's actually three paintings in one. 

In normal light, it's a black-and-white painting with a full moon that dominates the sky — a visual representation of the way the moon captivates me. 

In darkness, it shifts into a blood moon, and the psychedelic sky appears as though it’s melting. 

Under blacklight, the scene transforms once again, into a moon from another world.

I like that this moon is more unassuming in the light and becomes more spectacular in the dark — much like the real moon itself.
